Following the success of last year’s student digital film festival, new breeds of aspiring multimedia arts and film makers are all set to showcase their entries on the Awards Night to be held on November 29, 2012 at the covered court.

This year, the film is tagged as “Viva Voce: Hindi Bulag. Hindi Pipi. Hindi Bingi.” which challenges the participants to use “freedom” in expressing and interpreting their selected topics/subject matter without over-killing the leniency on rules and restrictions. 21 entries will be competing in different category which will all be presented during the awards night namely: “Inosente” by Immersive Productions, “Lucidious” by Kitamoba Productions and “Ang Bawat Gabi ay Laging Umaga” by Future Image for the Radio Drama category; “Love and Loss” by Monochrome Productions, “Facedown” by Kitamoba Productions, “Kung Maibabalik Ko Lang” by Future Image Productions, “Everyday Lover” by Three Musketeers Productions, “Don’t Let me Down” by Spakol Productions, “Henerasyon” (Original Composition) by Spakol Production, “Share your World” by Scenery Productions and “Katawan” by MA101E Productions for the Music Video category while “Unplanned” by Monochrome Production, “Supalpal” by Sardede and Salagagang Productions, “Happy Anniversary” by Immersive Productions, “Frame of Mind” by 4J2C Productions and “A Wedding Day” by Kitamoba Prodcutions will all be competing in the 3-minute film category. For the Experimantal Film category, five entries made it to the finals: “Ganti” by Scenery Productions, “Gloomy Sunday” by BUGG Productions, “Code 107” by Immersive Productions, “Tagged” by Future Image Productions and “Death Easters” by Kitamoba Productions.

The list of all the finalists is posted in the official website (http://stimunoz.edu.ph/filmfest) which also serves as a medium to determine the winners of the People’s Choice Award; which are determined by the most number of Facebook “Likes” and YouTube “Likes”. Videos are also posted on the Official Youtube Channel (http://www.youtube.com/stifilmfest) for the public screening.

And as part of the event, an art exhibit will also be held that will showcase student projects in 3D Modelling, Digital Arts, Sketches and other projects under Multimedia Arts and selected students prepared surprise and special performances that will surely entertain students, guests and the participants of the event.
