Virtual Learning For All Ages Anytime, Anywhere
STI EMPOWERMENT WEBINAR
Who says learning is just for kids? And who says learning can’t be done in front of your computer with your web camera? Lastly, who says that learning is boring?
STI College Muñoz-EDSA had a jam-packed June, as they brought learning to many different places around the Philippines namely Antipolo, Bataan, Batangas, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, Masbate, Occidental Mindoro, Pampanga, Tarlac and even Tuguegarao! The attendees from these places met virtually for one purpose: to learn in their pursuit of improving themselves.
On June 1, the topic was “Welcome to The New School: Guiding School Leaders in Making The Shift from Face-to-Face to Distance Learning” attended by school leaders from Don Alejandro Roces Sr. Science-Technology High School, Sergio Osmeña Sr. High School, Perpetual Help Learning Academy, Marriott School of Quezon City, and Hope Christian Academy. There were a total of 26 attendees that day.
June 2 and 3 was attended by teachers from Sergio Osmeña Sr. High School and other schools nationwide. The topic was “Welcome to The Cool School: Empowering Teachers in Making The Shift from Face-to-Face to Distance Learning”. This topic had a whopping 199 attendees!
On June 11, the topics was “Turning Mental Breakdown to Mental Breakthrough in the Midst of Pandemic” exclusively requested attended by 69 Judge Juan Luna High School teachers.
The topic for June 15 and 17 was “Guiding the Guidance: The Heart of Guiding Even if You’re Hurting. This was attended by 273 Guidance Counselors and teachers nationwide!
Of course, our employees would also have to learn in order to grow. Hence, we ran the webinar titled “Is it Worth It?: Employees’ Mental Health in The Midst of Pandemic” to employees of STI College Muñoz-EDSA on June 26, and the same topic was ran exclusively for teachers of Quirino High School on June 30.
These prove that learning is not just for kids. It can be done anytime and anywhere as long as you have an android phone, tablet, PC or laptop, and it is not always boring.
July is also packed with mental health and ‘new normal’ webinars not for employees, but for the youth. Thus, we’ll keep you posted about our schedules and events! 😊
