In reference to the memorandum order STI schools received from the Chairperson of the Commission on Higher Education, this academic year 2017-2018 is the LAST CHANCE for two-year program finishers and college undergraduates to continue to a Bachelor’s Degree, and for high school graduates to enroll to first year college because by 2018, only graduates of Senior High School are allowed to enroll to College.

Here are some frequently asked questions regarding the LAST CHANCE.

QUESTION: I am a graduate of High School in 2015. Can I enroll to college?

Yes! Graduates of 2015 and the preceding years (2014, 2013, 20112, etc.) have this last chance to enroll to college this academic year 2017-2018. If you let this chance pass you by, you will have to enroll to Senior High School by 2018-2019 if you want to go back to studying.

QUESTION: I am a college undergraduate. I studied for two years in college and decided to stop schooling to work. What will happen to me?

You have this last chance to continue your program. The subjects you took and passed may be credited if you enroll this A.Y. 2017-2018. Otherwise, you will have to go back to Grade 11 should you wish to study again by A.Y. 2018-2019.

QUESTION: I graduated from a two-year program in 1997. Am I included in this?

Yes! All two-year program finishers will be considered High School Graduates by 2018. Meaning to say, your two-year certificate will be considered at par with a Senior High School diploma. Needless to say, if you wish to go back to studying by 2018-2019, you will have to enroll to First Year College again.
