Last school year, 2013-2014, with the efforts of our STI College – Muñoz EDSA NSTP Coordinator, coaches, and students, we were able to donate blood in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross Blood Service. A lot of STIers, coaches and even families of our students ignited their love for others by volunteering to donate blood to those in need of it. The activity was a success and we were able to meet the quota as agreed upon by the school and the Philippine Red Cross.

That is why to give credit to all STIers who participated in the said event, our GE Coordinator and at the same time one of our NSTP coaches, Mr. Ronnel Romero joined the celebration of the Blood Donor’s Month last August 06, 2014 at Manila Hotel, One Rizal Park Manila. The Annual Recognition Ceremony honored the spirit of volunteerism of blood donors and institutions committed to help save lives.

The event’s theme is “Safety Blood for Saving Mothers,” which is geared unto how blood donors can play a vital role in saving the life of humans who are number one deliverers of life, mothers. With this theme’s idea and this year’s blood donation activity, STIers can be more proud to tell the world that they will save the lives of thousands of mothers.

Together with a bunch of famous institutions, STI College-Muñoz-EDSA received a Certificate of Appreciation which is now hung on the wall near the Dean’s office. This is to honor all STIers who gave a piece of themselves for the benefit of others.

STIers, we are so proud of you! May you continue igniting your love for our country as you strive to own up your volunteerism spirit. Until next blood donation activity!
