Patient X Volunteer
Besting tenths of entries from the country’s top colleges and universities, Patient X Volunteer, a short film of STI College Munoz EDSA was hailed as one of the Top 10 Best Videos and won 4th place in the National Tuberculosis Day Short Film-Making Contest organized by the Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP) last September 13, 2016 held at the Music Hall of SM Mall of Asia.
The contest aims to show correct information about Tuberculosis, and to raise awareness on the disease to continuously lessen its new cases in the country.
Joining the top spot in no particular order are entries from Colegio de San Juan de Letran (2 entries), Ateneo de Naga University (3 entries), PUP, De La Salle University – Dasmarinas, Mapua Institute of Technology (2 entries), and STI College – Munoz EDSA.
In the local 2015 Viva Voce Film Festival – the original and longest-running Student Film Festival of STI in general, Patient X Volunteer bagged the Best Video in the Documentary Category in STI College Munoz-EDSA.
Patient X Volunteer was produced by Multimedia Arts students namely Hannah Sharmaine S. Ochoco, Darrel Carlo P. Sabordo, Rucahrd Ray G. Trocio, Eric Rafael Boneo and Kenny Louis G. Ibe of Artsy Fancy Production.
