Ms. STI 2016 Queen Jubilee A. Mongcupa
Standing 5’8, this sixteen year old lady possessing a Filipina’s true “morena” beauty was crowned Ms. STI in the Cluster 2 Competition held last September 09, 2016 at STI Cubao, against eight other gorgeous young ladies coming from both tertiary and senior high school of different STI branches in Cluster 2.
Queen Jubilee A. Mongcupa, a Grade 11 student specializing in Tourism Operations then competed at the Talent Search National Finals held at Enchanted Kingdom last September 30, 2016 and bagged the Best in Sports Wear, and Best in Formal Wear Award. Not only that! She also took home the 4th Runner-Up’s crown! Yet, this young lady remains sweet and humble about her experiences.
What were your challenges in joining Mr. and Ms. STI?
Queen always reminds herself to do well so that she would not put her family, friends, and relatives down. She made sure that she did her best in everything not just for her, but also for the people around her.
What is your most memorable experience from the competition?
“My most memorable experience was when I won in the local and cluster competition. As a first timer in this competition, winning is a very big opportunity.”
Every winning moment for Queen was memorable. She even added that she learned a lot from the local up to the final competition.
What did you learn from the experience?
“I learned that you must show what you naturally are from the way you look to the way you talk. Show them that you deserve to win and that you are sincere in winning the title.
After the pageant, Queen maintains that indeed, beyond winning, it is the learning from the experience that matters most.
