HRM Students’ Participation to New Zealand Food Connection’s Competition
Last May 15, 2017, two of our students participated in New Zealand Food Connection’s Competition that was participated in by different culinary schools. STI College Muñoz-EDSA did not falter in sending their pride of students to showcase their skills in their field of expertise – cooking.
By pair, the students prepared a three-course menu within 90 minutes: appetizer, main course, and dessert using the products provided for by the competition organizers. Our entrants prepared Corned Beef in Banana Cup with White Sauce and Tomato-Mango Salsa for appetizer, Kono Mussels Salpicao for main course, and Fried Ice Cream Delight with Mango Syrup for dessert.
Ranked 4th, our entrants Mr. Francis Sapico, and Mr. Jeffrey Gabejan, together with their spare participant Kimberly Faye Romero take pride in representing STI College Muñoz-EDSA – the only college among the culinary schools in the competition. Congratulations! We would also like to thank and congratulate their coaches, Ms. Mercibel Alarcon and Mr. Ryan Jeff Tameta, as well as our HTM Head, Ms. Irene Francia, and HTM Dean, Ms. Remedios M. Najera for their extended assistance to our inspiring students who graduated last May 25, 2017 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management.
Indeed, you can be called STI College Muñoz-EDSA’s pride.
