An Alumnus Now Giving Back
An alumni of STI College Muñoz-EDSA Batch 2016, Allan Jay “AJ” Dumanhug now gives back to the community as he shares a piece of his knowledge to both students and IT professionals in the recently concluded Youth Congress on Information Technology (Y4IT) last September 5-7, 2017.
For the second time, AJ had been invited to deliver a talk to the participants of the said conference. He talked about “CyberSecurity: Human Error” for the student-participants on September 5, and “Website Hacking” for the professionals on September 6.
The said event was held in SMX Convention Center, the same venue where he talked about “CyberSecurity: Security Programs” last year on his first time to be the guest speaker for Y4IT. Certainly, AJ now gives back to his Alma Mater by simply sharing what he knows to more and more people for the advancement of Information Technology in the Philippines.
AJ was a diligent student who rose from not knowing much. He persisted in learning about new things and was able to co-found Secuna, a cybersecurity company where he works as the Chief Information Security. He is also hired by the University of the Philippines Diliman, and is also a part-time coach here in STI College Muñoz-EDSA.
Be like AJ. Transform lives and the technological and economic landscape of the Philippines by first transforming yourself.
